What is Give A Hand?

Delegates are introduced to the challenge and the powerful purpose behind building prosthetic hands that will be donated to people in need. Using iPads, teams tackle interactive puzzles and challenges to earn points that unlock the essential parts required for construction. The more challenges they solve, the more components they access, creating strategy, competition, and energy as teams balance speed with smart decision-making. Once all the parts have been secured, participants move into the hands-on phase, assembling their prosthetic hand under time pressure. Finally, the completed hands are tested for functionality before being carefully packed for donation, ensuring the activity leaves both a memorable team experience and a meaningful real-world impact.

How can it help your team?

Give A Hand immerses teams in a fast-paced, purpose-driven challenge that mirrors real workplace dynamics. To succeed, participants must communicate clearly, delegate roles effectively, and make smart decisions under time pressure, all while adapting to limited resources and unexpected challenges. The need to solve puzzles before accessing parts encourages problem-solving, strategic thinking, and collaboration, while the hands-on build phase strengthens trust and accountability. Most importantly, the shared achievement of creating something that changes lives fosters a sense of pride, unity, and purpose, leaving teams more connected, motivated, and aligned.

We partner with Lightbulb Teams to deliver this activity. They work directly with charities worldwide to ensure the prosthetic hands built are donated to those who need them most.
