We know Halloween is just over but there is nothing we love more than thinking about and planning Christmas. With the recent change to working from home, its time for infamous company Christmas party to undergo a change too.

1. Put on your best Christmas Jumper
It’s a really simple idea – but very effective! All you have to do is ask your team to wear their favourite festive jumper to your next Zoom meeting. You could even make it a little more interesting and put on a competition – best (or worst) dressed wins! An easy way to bring some festive cheer to your remote team.
2. Decorate your desk or remote working space
Working from home means you can’t spend an afternoon skiving off to decorate the office with tinsel and fairy lights… But who says you can’t decorate your remote working space? Turn it into an online game for remote teams and give the best-dressed desk a prize. You would be surprised how much some baubles and tinsel will lift spirits!
3. Secret Santa
Who doesn’t love gifts? Secret Santa is one of the more obvious traditions but a great way to bring remote employees across different teams together this Christmas. If your corporate Christmas party is cancelled this year, Secret Santa is a great substitute. Decide on a spending limit (don’t forget postage) and then pick a day for the ‘big reveal’ where everyone can show what they received!

Host an awards ceremony on a Friday afternoon via Zoom and make it fun by asking everyone to dress up (and bring a glass of wine).
