High Ropes Activities at Carton House, Maynooth, Co. Kildare, Ireland include the Leap of Faith, High all Aboard, Crate Stack, Jacobs Ladder, Multi Vine, Double Zip Line, Vertigo Tree Climb. This is a real team builder as the entire team totally depend on each team member to complete the tasks. Tasks can be tailored to each group to be more physically or mentally challenging. Packages can be arranged to suit the company’s preferences and budget. We take over everything and all you have to worry about is yourself and your team.
This is another high rope activity where we offer the opportunity for both team building and self-development by confronting a range of practical challenges. Simply climb the ladder to the top! It will take all the members of your team to reach the top; testing teamwork, trust and communication to the full.
The aim of this exercise is to build a stack out of giant crates, and to build it as high as you can. The higher the stack the more likely it will topple over. If the crate stack falls so does the team! This is a fun and participative activity that will involve four team members to climb the stack. Each time the team add a crate and the tower will get higher.
High All Aboard:
Four members of the team will climb up a central pole; 18 metres high and then climb onto a small platform. Once all four members are ‘all aboard’, the team will hold hands and gradually lean back together – until all members are leaning fully over the platform.
Double Zip Wire:
This double zip line spans over 200 meters! Each team member must get across a ravine and the only way to do this is by going on the Zip Wire. Using the best quality ropes, harnesses and protection devices each team member will rush downhill through a narrow gap within the trees. You are provided with a small rugby before take off, en-route you must try and land the ball in the drop zone to receive points for your team.
Leap of Faith – Group Finale:
1-2 team members are selected from each group to participate. Individuals will climb a central pole, reaching approx 18 meters high. Once at the top of the pole, they need to position themselves onto a small platform. Once in position the whole group will count down 3, 2, 1 and shout jump! The jumper will jump off the platform to catch the trapeze – dangling a few feet in front of them.
- Jumpers must leap on the countdown of the group. If they don’t they have been knocked out
- If a jumper fails to make the trapeze, they do not receive their vital points for their team
- The winning team is the team with the furthest jump
All safety equipment and professional instruction is provided so you are in good (safe) hands! Instructor stays with the group for the duration of the session.
A strong will & Motivation are essential in order to complete the tasks, if you don’t have it, your colleagues need to encourage you to succeed!
