Chain Reaction

Combining creativity, project management and teamwork skills to design a series of lifesize actions using recycled materials.

Testing team dynamics and human resources in the planning stage as the design must be divided into small sections. This requires both human and physical resources being divided into smaller groups.

What is Chain Reaction

A fun out of the box team building activity that requires collaboration, creativity and innovative thinking as teams work together to build a series of small individual machines that when joined together create an astonishing chain reaction contraption.

Supplied with a random selection of every day items, teams must discuss and share information among one another on how they are going to take on the task at hand.

As planning, strategizing and construction commences, teams realise that many hands make light work as they achieve a true sense of common purpose. Teams join their machines together to create a long knock on effect of machines. They must test and retest their machines to ensure they will flow from one to the next without any hiccups!

After final testing is complete, teams trigger the chain reaction. The suspense and excitement brings everyone together in a celebration as they have worked together towards a common goal which they watch unfold before their eyes.
