Teaming up with Buy1 Give1 to Make an Impact

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been growing in popularity over the last few years. This trend is encouraging companies to give back to society and make a difference. CSR has been highlighted as a crucial factor for millennials in the workplace. In our recent article, we found that “millennials are looking for meaning from their job, they have a longing for change and are determined to make a difference”.
Becoming a Member of B1G1
In 2016, Orangeworks became a member of the Buy1Give1 initiative to make an impact globally by giving back through our CSR team building initiatives and daily business operations. B1G1 is an initiative that works with businesses to make an impact worldwide for those less fortunate. This initiative has more than 2,100 businesses from around the world making significant impacts every day. At Orangeworks we believe that every business has the power to change lives by integrating giving into the everyday business and we’re extremely happy to be a part of this.
B1G1 is a social enterprise and non-profit organization with a mission to create a world full of giving. There are over 500 projects for clients to choose from and 100% of donations go to the project that our clients select. Some example B1G1 projects include:
- Giving children access to clean drinking water
- Providing seeds to families for trees, plants and crops that will provide food
- Supporting the development of learning facilities
- Buying bricks to build schools
Go Give and B1G1
At Orangeworks, our interactive treasure hunt Go Team Go Give gives back through Buy1Give1. Our GPS based treasure trail uses iPads to locate checkpoint challenges around your local town, city or venue. Each challenge that is completed allows your team to donate through the B1G1 foundation, letting your team create memories whilst making a difference.
